2FA adds an extra security layer requiring a code from your phone to log in.
What You Need
Smartphone with authenticator app
Access to your OPDuel account
Apps that work
Google Authenticator
Authy
Microsoft Authenticator
Enable 2FA
Click your username → “Profile”
Go to “Security” section
Click “Enable 2FA”
QR code appears
Scan with authenticator app
Enter 6-digit code from app
Save backup codes - Important!
Using 2FA
When logging in
Enter username and password
Enter 6-digit code from app
Code changes every 30 seconds
Backup Codes
Save these somewhere safe
Each code works once
Use if you lose phone access
Generate new codes in settings

Use backup code to log in

Disable 2FA
Go to Security settings
Click “Disable 2FA”
Enter current 2FA code (or use one of your backup codes)
Confirm removal
